Freezer Alert Pro notices the power loss right away, switches to its battery, and sends the alert over cellular. You also get a notice when power returns. A full chest freezer of food can be worth $1,000 or more, so the early warning is about protecting what is already in the freezer.

Plug in the monitor, place the probe in the freezer or refrigerator, and scan the QR code. The website and the app both walk you through a quick account and device setup.
The app shows the temperature, power, and battery for that unit. Once your alerts are set up, you won't need to reference the app. On a normal day it simply says there are no alerts.

The monitor switches to its rechargeable battery and keeps reporting after the outlet goes dead. A runtime in hours is not published.
What temperature range does the probe cover?
The probe watches the temperature inside a freezer or refrigerator and can alert you when it climbs past the limit you set. A numeric probe range is not published.
